A Free Weekly Collage Class For Kids

I will guide kids, ages 5 and up Friday morning at 11:00am PST, in a virtual collage class using Zoom, an account is free to register. I will focus each class on using simple materials like paper, glue, magazines and other household items to create beautiful collage art compositions at home. We will go over:
  • Art materials and the use of magazines.
  • Each class will include simple projects creating lines, shapes and fading.
  • A final portrait will be created with with the use of these new techniques taught.

Every class will be available after the live recording.

Introduction to Collage for Adults

I will guide you through a 4-week virtual collage class for Adults and kids over 12. This class will focus on using simple materials like paper, glue, magazines to create beautiful collage art compositions at home. Starting at more basic level will encourage students to be more playful and curious with their creativity. Studying lines, color, composition and form with collage will open ones eyes to all the possibilities paper can offer.
Each week will consist of one project designed to build upon learned skills and techniques that will guide students to feel more confident using my grid collage technique, which will be taught at the end of the course.

Join me online through Zoom on Tuesday nights as I teach the fundamentals of collage and art theory techniques with approachable lessons. Students will be able to ask questions and receive feedback on their work. Students of all backgrounds will find this hands-on class a fun and insightful creative online experience.

Material List:
  • Canvas, Fine Art Paper or even simple computer paper will do.
  • Gloss Medium and Varnish- glue designed for collage OR Elmer’s glue is great for learning.
  • Exacto Knife and/or scissors 
  • Cutting Mat, optional but can help when using an exacto knife.
  • Paint Brush-can be helpful for a cleaner glue application
  • Glue Tray
  • Magazines for cutting
